I’ve always been connected to cards since I was a child. I played Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid and it was one of my favorite games. I still own the Winged Dragon of Ra and Slifer the Sky Dragon, and traded Obelisk the Tormenter for Light and Darkness Dragon, so I still have these cards. In my teens I picked up Texas hold’em and got quite good. I played successfully in Las Vegas for some time before 2020 hit. I also picked up tarot reading in my time out west, and as I’ve posted before, I find synchronicity in every new deck I acquire. The latest ties in to the synchronicity of my new novel, which you can buy on Amazon under “Bird Song: The Way, the Quest, the Life.”
The twentieth card depicting revelations in the classic deck was renamed “awakening” in the recent deck, which is almost of the same definition as epiphany, and chapter 20 is where the awakening of the protagonist occurrs and is named after 1/6, epiphany. Check out the art on the tarot:
